Heat Pump Water Heater
  • It’s a single unit , no separate compressor or tank required. All components are combined together which makes it all in one unit.

  • There are no subsidies, however, any commercial or industrial enterprise can avail of accelerated 80% Depreciation on their investment in Heat Pump Water heaters which are classified as “Energy saving Devices” under Income Tax Act. Additional depreciation benefits will reduce the payback time for these enterprises.

  • – Heat Pump water heater can be combined with solar water heater to ensure that your heating and hot water needs are met while also being environmentally friendly.

    – It’s entirely possible that solar panels would be able to produce all the electricity you need to run your heat pump depending on the size of the solar array.

    – But Zanskar hotspring Heat Pump alone can provide a sufficient hot water supply with 75% energy saving so combining it with solar panels is not recommended unless solar panels are being installed directly to the grid for all appliances at home.

  • – Zanskar heat pumps can be installed indoor or outdoor and it’s ideal for Individual Homes, Large Apartments , Small Commercial Spaces.

    – The Unit has to be installed with proper ventilation if it’s installed indoors.

    – It is recommended to cover the unit if it’s installed outdoors. Installing the appliance under a ‘Chajja” or protection – roof will help in prolonging the life of the appliance’s internal working system.

    – As our heat pump is All in one /monobloc unit it will not require bigger space for installation.

    – Air to water Heat Pumps are relatively simple to install for a qualified installer and it takes 3-4hours to install

  • – Zanskar heat pump requires low maintenance . It’s advisable to have appliances checked every year in order to keep track of possible issues that could arise.

    – There is some maintenance that the owner can do himself which includes keeping the whole appliance clean while the condition of some technical parts needs to be checked by trained technicians.

    – Water quality should be good & there should be an efficient pumping system available which in turn helps to minimize maintenance & cleaning.

Having lived in over 20 countries, and 4 continents, it is his entrepreneurial instinct that helped him establish a successful business in building materials. Today, he is the founder and CEO of Zanskar Home Solutions and also a Director at Stiebel Eltron India Private Limited, a global leader from Germany with 100 years of experience in innovative technologies in heating (including domestic hot water), cooling and ventilation with the mandate to set up a new team / foundation for renewed growth in the Indian market for sustainable and long-term healthy growth. One of the key goals is to explore synergies between the two companies to create a powerhouse combination between a luxury and performance/value driven segment in the Indian market.

Mr Nitin Bhide- Technical and Service Head

Mr Bhide, has over 35 years of production, technical and service experience in consumer appliances, power tools and auto electric components sectors. Prior to joining Zanskar, he has been in senior positions at Black and Decker tools, TVS group, Sumeet Appliances and Morphy Richards to name a few. His well rounded experience and understanding of production and service across sectors has helped Zanskar design, develop and make products which are future ready and with the Indian consumer in mind.

Mr. Shabbir Harianawala- National Sales and Business Development Head

Shabbir has over 10 years of Corporate experience working for Eureka Forbes and similar experience in the Telecom Industry with Reliance Communications and Idea Cellular. Prior to joining Zanskar, Mr. Shabbir served as Head of Business Development for various SME’s based out of Pune with experience in various industries such as weighing scales, flooring, and medical devices to name a few. He has pursued entrepreneurship in the middle of his professional career retailing/distributing water softeners and heat pumps in the Pune market.
